We have scheduled our Next Flagami Fiesta for October, 17th 2003 from 6:00 a 10:00 pm. on the Flagami Triangle, located at South West 8 Street (Calle Ocho) and 73 Court.

  Our purpose is to highlight and unite our community through promoting our international cultures by featuring our local talents; such as singers, painters, actors, models, and entertainers. We would like to beautify and revitalize the Flagami area as well as better the appearance and image of our neighborhoods, reduce crime in the area to have a better community where our residents, families, merchants and clients can live in a harmonious environment with a great sense of security. Flagami Fiesta is a production of the Flagami Action Committee and Unity International Foundation Inc., with the collaboration of Miami-Dade County Commissioner Rebeca Sosa, City of Miami Mayor, Manny Díaz, City of Miami Commission Chairman, Thomás Regalado, Miami Flagami NET Director Fausto Callava and Miami Police area commander Michael Columbo.

 The Flagami Fiesta, a community event celebrating our Latin culture and heritage, while promoting our local talents, the arts and revitalize the Flagami area.

As a neighbor we offer you this unique opportunity, the “Flagami Fiesta” established in 1998 during the Calle Ocho (SW 8 Street) re-construction, was founded by Baron DaParre, president of the Flagami Action committee as a bi-monthly Networking event.  This Community event is now formally known as “Flagami Fiesta.”  This Community event celebrates our multi ethnic heritage and culture, while promoting our local talents and the arts at the same time we revitalize the Flagami area.

 This Fiesta will be held the second (2^nd) Friday of every months, the next one being Friday, August 15th, 2003. This fun filled, community event will be in the family oriented setting of the “Flagami Triangle located at South West 8 Street and 73 Court.
